This and That

Here's a Armed Forces Bowl game preview from Rivals. It's a pretty good read.
It's a weird time for Army football news. Holidays and no other high profile games has put college football on the proverbial back burner. I'm traveling the eastern half of the US this week with very limited internet access, so hopefully I can at least catch up with old news if I can't keep up with actual news.
One such item is West point's search for a new athletic director.
Word is Boo Corrigan, Duke’s senior associate athletic director for external affairs, remains the front runner to become Army’s next athletic director.Corrigan is one of at least three finalists after initial interviews, according to sources . He also has a pretty solid endorsement from one of West Point most distinguished graduates.Duke men’s basketball coach Mike Krzyzewski has highly recommended Corrigan for the position.
That's about all I have, things should start moving pretty quickly after Saturday, though.

The boys over at the Georgia Tech blog From the Rumble Seat gave reached out to me to do a Q&A regarding the Yellowjackets' Independence Bowl opponent: Air Force.
The Q&A is found here. There you can find out my most guarded thoughts on Army's most heated near-rival.
I'll add From the Rumble Seat to my BIG East blog list, as it's the most dedicated and complete GTech blog out there.
