While we're taking a look out of the region I'll note Iowa State's evident concern about the Big Ten's new 9-game schedule. Beginning in 2017, the Big Ten's 9-game league slate may urge B10 teams to schedule an extra home/away date for each league team. Due to that, teams might look to exclusively schedule non conference home dates in place of a yearly visits to arch rivals. With this paradigm extrapolated to Iowa's schedule beyond 2017 I can easily see a scenario that could jeopardize Iowa State's rivalry with the Iowa Hawkeyes.
Personally, I believe that the legend of the CyHawk will persevere, but before we dismiss the prospect of losing in-state rivalries replacing them with yearly cupcake home games keep in mind there has been a precedent of that kind of messy divorce in recent Big Ten expansion.
You can tell Army Pointer View is ready for some football. Blanket coverage from them in anticipation of another winning season.
Oh, yeah... this show isn't just about Delaware. Phil Steele's top 30 FCS countdown is complete, each team's preview is available, but you'll have to figure out for yourself how to see each PDF.

After the long summer, I was pleased to check in and see you are still up and running.
I'm sorry this is the last year for Tulane-Army. But I'll be up at West Point for the game.
I've retired my blog- eight years was long enough- but I'll be sure to visit before the Green Wave game to chide you. Good luck this season.
Hey Frank, thanks for the comment. Sorry to hear you left the blog, your dedication to the Green Wave is unmatched and much like the Army/Tulane football series I hope you are back at it sooner than later.
If you have the time you are welcome to guest post during the Army/Tulane week. I still have your e-mail and I'll be in touch.
Best regards,
Chris
