Here is my week 13 ballot. I don't have confidence in any single team or ranking - even LSU at #1. The way I see it Alabama tied the Tigers at Tuscaloosa, but were granted the win via overtime. I wish they would just do away with OT already - it is a pointless practice.
In other Top 25 news Army is now on the wait list for ESPN's Bottom 10.
Waiting list: Arizona (2-8), Army (3-7), Buffalo (2-8), Central Michigan (3-8), Colorado State (3-6), Duke (3-7), Fresno State (3-7), Georgia Tech's puncher's chance, Idaho (2-8), Louisville's sore thumbs, Middle Tennessee (2-7), Minnesota (2-8), Oregon State (2-8), Rice (3-7), Ron Zook's exit, San Jose State (3-7), Texas A&M in the second half, Texas Tech in all four quarters, Troy (2-7).
I can't really argue with Army flirting with the Bottom 10. While I think the Cadets would handle 9 out of the 10 teams pretty easily, when I look at that list as a potential schedule it reminds me of what I thought Army's 2011 slate would look like - but here's Army at 3-7. Not good at all.
I encourage fans to keep the year in perspective as it has made a nice rebuilding year. 2012 holds a lot of promise, and I think the trials that this team faced this year will end up benefiting the Black Knights within one calendar year.
Here is my top 25 ballot. LSU/Alabama co-#1's, Teams #3-#14 represent my co-#2's and the rest are tied for 3rd.
